Activate your Siren when a Door is Opened with Harmony

If you have Dome’s Siren, Door/Window Sensor, and a Harmony Hub with a Hub Extender you can create an intruder alert. Follow the steps below to automatically trigger an alarm when Harmony detects an open door. If you haven't set up your devices yet, read these two articles first:

1. Open your Harmony app, under the Activities tab press Edit Activities

2. Press Add Activity

3. Press Add your own Activity

4. Set a name (I picked 'Door Alarm') and an icon, then press the arrow >

5. Select the Dome Siren then press the arrow >

6. On the next two screens press the arrow > in the corner

7. Select the Dome Siren and set the switch to ON, then press >

8. Press the arrow >

9. Select the Dome Siren and set the switch to OFF

10. Press the arrow >

11. Press Edit Activities then tap your Door Alarm

12. Press Sensor Triggers and select the Dome Door/Window Sensor in the top group

13. Choose Opened and press Save

14. Now select your Dome Door/Window Sensor in the bottom group

15. Select Closed and press Save

16. Press the arrow > in the upper right hand corner

17. Press the X in the corner

18. Your Siren will now activate while the Door/Window Sensor is open
