Since we are not yet officially integrated with Wink, the Dome Mouser is recognized out of the box in Wink as a Door/Window Sensor. To pair, go to "Add to Wink" in the main menu, then select “Safety & Security” followed by “Sensors” then "Generic Z-Wave Sensor" to begin pairing. When you pair the mouser into your system, change its name to help tell it apart from other door sensors. The "door" will normally appear to be "closed” when the trap is empty, and be will "open" when the trap is tripped (figure 1.) You can use the Mouser's status as triggers in your Robots to receive notifications or do something else when the Mouser trips (figure 2.)
Figure 1 - How the Mouser appears in Wink when tripped. Conveniently, Wink’s default image for “Door Sensor Tripped” has a cat in it!
Figure 2 - How it will look when you set up a Robot to send you a notification when the Mouser is tripped.
